7.2.2  Clamping the knife

Close the safety doors (3-2/8).

Move holder plate to change position by pressing the “F5 Change Position” button (3-9/11) on 
the touch panel.

Open the safety doors.

Push back the threaded nut (7-3/1) as shown in 
the figure.

ATTENTION

Grease the thread, since it will be damaged 
otherwise. 

Only use knife that matches the holder plate 
(compare labels). Using an incorrect holder 
plate can damage the knife and the machine.

Place the holder plate (7-4/1) on the holding 
flange (7-4/2).

Pay attention to the centering pin (7-3/2) and 
centering hole (7-4/3) in the holder plate.

Turn the threaded nut (7-3/1) on the holder plate.
