Process
Display
1.
Press both arrow keys.
2.
Hold down the left arrow key and use the right
arrow key to scroll until the correct display
appears.
3.
Let go of the arrow keys and press the left or
right arrow key to select a value.
4.
Wait until the status display shows.
5.
Press both arrow keys.
6.
Hold down the left arrow key and use the right
arrow key to scroll until the correct display
appears.
7.
Hold down the left arrow key and use the right
arrow key to switch to ON.
8.
Let go of the arrow keys and wait until the dis-
play shows the measuring value.
9.
Keep waiting until the value stabilizes. Press any
key.
10.
Press the right arrow key to save the result or
the left arrow key to cancel.
Enter additional settings or start the analysis.
5.9 Switching off device
Always rinse the CM flow cell with water at the end of work (see chap.
8.3). If you switch off your pump system, make sure that the capillary
system of the unit or the flow cells does not run dry (e.g. due to evapora-
tion or unfavorable height differences between the eluent and the waste
bottle).
Note that the CM flow cell and the pH monitor have different storage
requirements. Remove the pH monitor - if installed - before using salt-
free solvents for rinsing. For this purpose, use the small parts of the pH
monitor accessory pack (F1939) to close the flow path via a coupling after
removing the pH flow cell and store the pH electrode according to
chap. 9.3.2.
Note:
Alternatively, the system can continue to be operated with buffer
at a low flow rate (e.g. 0.1 ml/min) until the next use.

chapter „Transport and storage“ on page 35.
