7. Maintenance instructions
During work on the 360-drive the electrical supply should be switched off by means of the
magnetic key.
In order to avoid unintentional starting, the magnetic key should be taken off from the
tillerhead. Furthermore, the poles of the batteries should be disconnected.
Turn off the 360 drive always and remove the magnetic key of the tiller before
servicing the 360 drive to avoid dangerous situations or serious injury.
Furthermore, the poles of the batteries are disconnected.
7.1 Batteries
To prolong the life of the battery as long as possible, observe the following points in mind
and charge the gastight batteries only with the supplied charger.
1. The connection between the batteries and charging equipment must be undamaged;
2. Batteries should be clean and dry;
3. Regularly check the pools of battery connections before servicing;
4. Do not charge with damaged battery cables;
5. The batteries can be recharged at any time without problem. Empty driving should be
avoided.
6. Batteries have a limited life. The capacity (the time of discharge) lowers in time. If the
battery no longer has the desired discharge time it needs replacing.
7.2 Charging batteries
To magnetic key needs to be removed of the tillerhead during charging. The
360-drive should be put on the handbrake during charging.
Keep the charger out of dusty and wet areas. During charging any type of
moisture should be avoided
The 360 drive must only be recharged in a ventilated area.
