Bipolar Power Setting
•
Use the power controller (13) for setting the bipolar output
power.
•
The power setting is adjusted from a preset minimum value to a
maximum value depending on the selected current type (see
section 9 “Technical Data”, page 35).

The output power increases in roughly linear relation to the
rotation angle.
•
The correlation can be seen in the diagram for the bipolar current
type.

Bipolar Operating Mode
For the bipolar operating mode, the current type “Bipolar coagulation” must be activated!

For activating the current, either the foot switch or the automatic activation system function
can be used.
The bipolar RF current is provided in accordance with the selected power. At the same time, an
acoustic signal can be heard, and the corresponding activation LED (12) lights up.
CAUTION
Risk of burns due to hot surfaces!
After prolonged application of RF current at high power, the surface of the unit can heat up
significantly!
