SMOKE CONTROL DAMPERS
FIRE RESISTANCE
CLASSIFICATION
FDSD fire resistance is tested according to EN 1366-10
“Fire resistance tests for service installations. Smoke control
dampers” Classification of the smoke contol dampers is defined
according to EN 13501-4. Fire classification of construction
products and building elements using data from fire resistance
tests.
Installation in horizontal axis of rotation of the dampers blade
is acceptable.
Fire resistance of smoke control damper depends on
classification of walls. It is allowed to install products to walls
only according to products Declaration of Performance.
Walls with greater fire resistance can also be used. Smoke
damper should be installed according installation manual which
can be found within this document.
