activate the control

12

Operating
mode
switch

To activate the retraction stop
e.g. for the BBTC or for crimping
cable lugs and connectors and
the punching mode for a con-
fortable operation of the
Greenlee punching heads.

3.2  Description of the operation- and con-

trol functions

First turn the the main switch (pic. 1.1) into the position
on. Then turn the control mode switch (pic. 1.11) into po-
sition 1. The next move is to choose the intended ope-
ration by turning the operating mode switch (pic. 1.12).
Afterwards the working process (e.g. punching, bending,
cutting, crimping) is initiated by actuating the safety foot
switch (pic. 1.7). The working process proceeds automati-
cally and will not stop before the max. operating pressure
is reached. The pump will stop the forward motion of the
working unit immediately after having released the safety
foot switch.
