A certain amount of grease drips down during the cooking process and causes
fl ames to fl are up. Some fl aring is desirable because it intensifi es the taste. Too
much fl are is not acceptable. The food should then be placed on a different location
of the grill and / or the heat should be turned off. Cut off excess fat from the meat
before grilling to prevent the fl ames from fl aring up excessively, and clean the
grease tray and grill plate regularly. Fat burns are dangerous and can destroy the
device. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any grease fi res caused by
the user and resulting damage to the device.
•
Do not use the rotisserie of the grill in wet or damp weather, as it is connected to a
power outlet.
•
When you have fi nished grilling, fi rst turn off the rotary valves and then turn off the
gas cylinder. This way, gas remaining in the lines can burn off.
•
Cover the grill after it has cooled down to protect it from the weather.
•
Keep a fi re extinguisher near the grill. Never attempt to extinguish a grease fi re with
water, as this will result in a more rapid spread of the fl ames. If the fi re has already
reached the gas cylinder, immediately leave the area (at least 200 m from the gas
cylinder) and call the fi re department.
•
In case of a grease fi re, leave the grill cover open and, if possible, turn off the
burner. If this is not possible, disconnect the gas supply at the quick connection or
the shut-off valve.
Leak test
CAUTION
Risk of fi re. Always check for leaks before use, and always use soapy
water for the leak test and never use an open fl ame.
•
Make approx. 100 ml of soapy water by mixing it with water in a ratio of 1: 3.
•
Make sure the control valve is „OFF.“
•
Connect the regulator with the gas cylinder and the „ON / OFF valve“ on the
burner. Make sure the connection is secure and turn the throttle on.
•
Rub the soap solution on the hose and all equipment components.
•
If bubbles appear, there is a leak that needs to be repaired before using the grill.
•
Run the leak test again after repairing the leak.
• Turn off the gas after the test.
•
If you detect a leak that cannot be repaired, do not attempt to repair the leak
yourself, but contact the service center or your local gas dealer.
