Connection process
•
Before connecting, make sure there is no dirt at the top of the gas cylinder, on the
regulator, the burner or the burner components.
•
Spiders and insects can nest in and block the burner lines.
•
Clogged burner lines may cause a fire below the unit.
•
Clean burner holes with a durable pipe cleaner.
•
Connect the hose to the connection thread and tighten it with an open-end wrench.
•
If the hose is replaced, it must be attached to the unit and regulator connections with
hose clamps.
•
Disconnect the regulator from the gas cylinder (according to the regulator
instructions) when the grill is not in use.
• This grill may only be used outdoors.
OPERATION AND PREPARATION OF FOOD
Preparation of the grill and safe food preparation
To clean all surfaces and accessories, use hot soapy water before and after preparing
meat and poultry products. After cleaning, rinse everything with clean water.
•
Rub the grill grate with some oil or a non-stick product to prevent food from sticking
to the grill.
•
Use only suitable grill accessories (long handles) and oven gloves.
• When it is cold, humid or windy, the grill time may be longer.
•
Marinate meat and poultry to reduce cooking time. In addition, marinating causes
the meat to become tender. Try low-calorie Italian dressing and soy sauces. These
can also be used in the preparation of normal meals.
•
The grill should be preheated before you prepare food.
•
Make sure that the natural juices are preserved in the meat and in the poultry.
Therefore, turn the meat rather with a tongs instead of piercing with a fork.
•
Use glaze or barbecue sauce only in the last 15 - 20 minutes of the preparation
process. This will avoid burning.
•
Once juice comes out of the meat or poultry, it can be taken off the grill.
