High frequencies (approx. 20 - 36 Hz)
At high frequencies, the muscle does not have enough time to achieve
complete relaxation within the short time between two cycles. Rather, the
muscle is forced to contract again when it is about to relax or is already
partially relaxed. As a result, inter- and intramuscular coordination in
particular is trained with greater forces and within very short periods of time,
which ultimately leads to an increase in the muscular performance.
Positive effects:
• Tone increase
• Increase of muscle performance
• Restoration of muscle strength
