Safety regulations
Basically all cooking zones are capable for the boost feature. However,
the hob is divided into two halves (groups) of of power distribution
technical reasons. Boosting both zones in one group at the same time
is not possibe due to this reason. Here the appliance switches automa-
tically to the hightest possible power level.
The cooking zones are grouped corresponding to the two phases of the hob.
Each phase should not exceed a maximum electric power of 3680 W. Also the
second phase (Group B) has this limit, a safety mechanism is implemented in
Group B. This applies only if all three zones of the group B are turned on at the
same time. Here the zones are reduced in power to the maximum possible
level accordingly.
