3.3 The dual / triple zone function
• This function is only available on cooking zones
1
and
3.
• The dual/triple cooking zones have two or three heating zones, allowing
the cooking area to be adjusted: Depending on current requirements,
use only the central heating zone (
A
) or two (
B
) or three heating zones (
C
)
together.

Deactivating the dual/triple zone function
• During the cooking process, touch the desired cooking zone selec-
tion key and then touch the dual or triple zone key /
as often
as required, until only the central area is activated,
or turn off the zone by descending to level 0.
•
When the hob is switched off, the function is also deactivated and
may have to be reset.
Activating the dual/triple zone function
• First select the desired dual/triple cooking zone and set the desired pow-
er level (The central area
A
is initially activated.)
•
While the power indicator is still flashing (if necessary, press the cooking
zone selection key again), press the or
key or as often as required,
until the desired number of heating zones is activated for the cooking
zone.
•
The display stops flashing after 5 seconds.
To then change the size of the cooking area again, press the correspon-
ding cooking zone selection key and proceed as described above.
