2.2 Choosing the right cookware and its use
• Make sure that the base of your cook-
ware is smooth and sits flat against the
glass.
Do not use cookware with jagged edges
or a curved base.
• If possible, use cookware with a base
diameter that roughly matches the size
of the cooking zone.

tion.

For best efficiency, always place the
cookware in the middle of the cooking
zone.
•
Always lift pans off the ceramic hob.
Do not slide, or they may scratch the
glass.
Note:
Before using the cookware, make sure that its base is clean.
Soiling such as sand residue from peeling potatoes can damage the
cooking surface.
Optimal cookware dimensions
The bottom of your cookware should have a certain size
according to the cooking zone:
