8.3 Adjustment the door spring
• The door of the dishwasher is attached with springs. These are
factory-set to ensure proper spring tension and to easily open and
close the door.
•
After installing the furniture door, adjust the spring tension of the
door.
• Fully open the door to access the set screws.
• Using the hex wrench, turn with the adjusting screw for tensioning or
loosening the steel strand.
• The balancer is set correctly if:
a) the door remains in the horizontal position when fully open.
b) the door can be easily closed by lifting the door with your fingers.
• NOTE:
Failure to adjust the spring tension of the door may damage
the unit.
