 Safety precautions

a. External cleaning of the breast pump

Cleaning is confined to external parts.
Disinfection is done with a clean, damp cloth.

b. Cleaning the protective membrane

The protective membrane prevents any ingress of milk or liquid into the tubing
and into the device.
It is important to clean it as soon as it has been in contact with breast milk.
Also clean the small tubing connecting to the breast shield.

Cleaning:

Disconnect the large and small tubing
from both sides of the protective
membrane.

Disconnect the large and small tubing

from both sides of the protective
membrane.

Clean and rinse all parts of the

protective membrane and the small
contaminated tubing to remove liquid
residue. Allow to air dry on a paper
towel.

Assemble the 3 pieces of the protective membrane. Check that the white

diaphragm is correctly positioned in its housing (press on the edges to ensure
a good seal throughout the membrane contour). Reconnect the small and
large tubing to the protective membrane.
