WARNING: 

The KINGSPAN TRIBUNE has a 

fitting for a ½” NPT drain plug at the base of the 

tank. This must be fitted with an anti-tamper type 

drain plug to prevent accidental discharge that may 

cause serious scald injuries and/or damage to the 

surrounding property.

1.  READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS WATER HEATER.

2.  This water heater must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded outlet. See “GROUNDING  

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS” found in Section 2.3

3.  Install or locate this water heater only in accordance with the provided installation instructions.

4.  Use this water heater only for its intended use as described in this manual.

5.  Water heaters must be hard wired.

6.  As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when used by children.

7.  Do not operate this water heater if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.

8.  This water heater should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Contact nearest authorized    

 

service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

Ensure that you comply with the instructions contained within this manual and that all components used to set water 

temperature are properly installed and functioning correctly. Consult a qualified installer if you have any problems installing this 

KINGSPAN TRIBUNE unit.

For maximum safety water Thermostatic mixing valves can be purchased that set the water to the faucets to 125˚F or below. 

This is an important consideration especially if your household has children, elderly and disabled persons residing in it. Contact 

a qualified plumber to obtain further information. 

Children, disabled and elderly are at 

highest risk of being scalded.
