GET TO KNOW YOUR CHILD SEAT
This type of seat must be installed forward-facing and . The groups:
Group I (9–18 kg) use (Figure 1.1): Secure the child by the impact shield.
Group II and III (15–36 kg) use (Figure 1.2 ): Remove the harness system and secure the child by a vehicle safety belt.

PREPARING STABILITY CONNECTORS (Figure 4.1; 4.2; 4.3; 4.4; 4.5)
Pull to unlock (Figure 4.1) and simultaneously pull and release the connector block (Figure 4.2). Rotate the connectors into position
(Figure 4.3). For the Stability fix model lock on the two stability fix connectors to the anchorages in your car seat. Make sure you hear
a clear sound “click”(2x) and see the appearance of green mark. Place the child in the seat.(Figure 4.4; 4.5)
USE FOR GROUP I (9–18 KG):
Press the button to adjust the front impact shield according to your child size (Figure 5.1). Lock the belt with an audible sound
“click” (Figure 5.2).
USE FOR GROUPS II AND III (15–36 KG)
When the child’s weight reaches 15–36 kg, the seat must be installed and used in the according manner. Place the belt through the
shoulder belt guide . Place the belt through the lap belt guide (Figure 6.1). An unoccupied Ferris should still be fastened with the 3-point-belt.
Make sure luggage or other objects are properly secured. Place the child in the seat (Figure 6.2). Lock the belt in the buckle “click”
(Figure 6.3). Make sure the child sits in safest position (Figure 6.5). Make sure the belt is not twisted. The lap belt should be worn
over the hips. Adjust the FERRIS to the correct height by pushing the head-rest adjusting button and moving the headrest (Figure 6.4).
For correct position head and backrest are at the correct height.
CORRECT BELT ROUTING
Make sure the belt is positioned in the green zone. (Figure 7.1). Make sure the belt runs through both the shoulder belt guide and the lap
belt guide. (Figure 7.2).
SLEEPING POSITION: Pull to unlock(1) and simultaneously pull and release the sleeping position block (2). (Figure 8.1). Normal and
sleeping position (Figure 8.2).
REMOVING THE FERRIS FROM THE CAR: Remove the belt from the belt guides . Remove the seat (Figure 9.1).
REMOVING AND REFITTING THE COVER:
The cover is a safety feature. Never use the FERRIS without it.
Removing the cover: Pull the bottom part of the cover. Pull the top part of the cover. Start at where the arrow is located
(Figure 10.1). Take off the cover competely, then release the elastic band from the fixed button.Release the elastic bands. Start
at the top (Figure 10.2; 10.3).
Refitting the cover: Refit the cover, using the previous instructions in reversed order. The cover of the Cocoon Travel should be
washed in accordance with the instructions (on the inside of the cover).
Cleaning thecar seat: Do not use any agressive cleaning products; these may harm the construction material of the car seat
Clean by hand with water and mild soap.
After an accident: After an accident, thecar seat and your car seat beltsshould be replaced. Although they may look undam-
aged, ifyou were to have another accident, the car seat andyour car seat belts may not be able to protect your child aswell as
they should.
