Timing
Adusting Timing:
Step 1

Remove the levelwind guard
Step 2

Remove the 2 bolts on the levelwind input sprocket. Now you can manually adjust the levelwind mechanism by
grabbing the sprocket with a pair of channel locks, holding the sprocket still and making adjustments until you see the
drive lug in the correct position. Once the drive lug is in the correct position, your machine is in time.
Step 3

Replace the Levelwind guard and then replace the fork, being especially careful not to have any over

hang on
the chain side of the mounting plate as shown below.
Remove Bolts &
Make Adjustments
Remove Guard
Caution! Over-hang on the chain side of the mounting plate when replacing
the fork will cause damage to the unit during operation!
