To use the seat as booster seat for group 3 children [22-36kg]
first ensure you have completely removed the harness straps
and adjuster strap as described in steps 20 to 24.
To convert the group 2 child seat to a group 3 booster seat, place one
knee on the seat base and with both hands push the backrest away
from you.
To convert back:
Hook the seat-base over the plastic hinge on the
seatback and whilst kneeling on the seat-base, pull the seatback up
towards you till the two parts ‘snap’ back together.
Installing for group 2 [15-25kg]
Place the child car seat in a suitable forward facing position
and push the child car seat firmly into the vehicle seat.
Position your child in the child car seat and place the shoulder
belt through the shoulder belt guide (B). The shoulder belt should pass
over your child’s shoulder and should not be against their neck. If
necessary adjust the headrest up or down so that the shoulder belt
passes over your child’s shoulder correctly.
Place the lap belt over your child’s lap and fasten the seatbelt
ensuring the lap belt is routed under both armrests and the shoulder
belt passes under the armrest nearest the buckle (W).
Remove all slack from both the lap and diagonal sections of seatbelt.
WARNING: The child car seat should always be strapped in using the
vehicle’s seatbelt whether a child is seated in the child seat or not.
