- A sounder circuit fault will operate the system fault LED and the internal buzzer in a
pulsed mode.
- The operation of the silence alarms button will alter the internal buzzer to the
intermittent mode but the system fault LED will remain in a pulsed mode.
- A supply fault (mains, battery or fuse failure) will extinguish the supply healthy LED
and illuminate the system fault LED in a pulsed mode. The internal buzzer will
operate in a pulsed mode.
- The operation of the silence alarms button will alter the internal buzzer to the
intermittent mode. But the system fault LED will remain in a pulsed mode.
- When the supply fault has been rectified operation of the reset button will revert the
display to its normal condition of the supply healthy LED being illuminated.
3.3 DISABLEMENT
- To isolate a zone, select the zone number on the membrane keypad and select the
cancel button, the corresponding (amber) zonal LED and the disablement LED will
illuminate in a continuous mode.
- The internal buzzer will operate in an intermittent mode.
- To reinstate a zone, select the required zone number and press the enter button, this
will revert the system back to its normal operating mode.
- It is possible to reinstate more than one zone by the command "O", then "Enter" but
not possible to isolate more than one zone with a single command.
3.4 TEST MODE
- The test mode is enabled by the operation of a DIL switch on the main pcb and the
zone to be tested is to be accessed via the membrane keypad as follows:-
- Operate the test mode DIL switch (SW1 leaf 3 on, located at access level 3) the test
LED will operate in a "slow" pulsed mode. By selecting the required zone number
and pressing the cancel button on the keypad the (amber) zone LED will flash in
sympathy with the test LED. Whilst the test mode is accessed the internal buzzer will
operate in an intermittent mode and the disablement LED will illuminate in a constant
mode.
- When the zone under test is put into an alarm condition the control panel will
illuminate the red fire LED and the internal buzzer will operate in a continuous mode.
The confirmation LED on the device under test will also illuminate, after
approximately 8 seconds the zone will revert back to indicating that the zone is still in
the test mode.
- When a zone in the test condition is activated the specific zone repeat will be
