PLAYBACK
For control and playback of your iPod via the radio, the iPod must be connected to the radio
using the Kia iPod cable supplied with the radio, as pictured above.
1) Gently open the mini USB socket cover

on the front of the radio.
2) Connect the mating mini USB connector of the Kia iPod connecting cable to this socket.
3) Connect the 3.5 mm stereo plug cable of the Kia iPod cable to the AUX input of the radio.
4) Connect the Kia iPod cable to the iPod. The radio will automatically switch to the iPod
mode and music playback will begin.
To change to a different mode, press MODE button

Whilst connected to the radio using the Kia iPod connecting cable, the iPod will be charged if
the radio is operating.
