Appendix
There are different S-parameter files for the different test cases. With the
S-parameter files for embedding and de-embedding you can calculate a
transfer function and assign this to the scope channel, where the TX
measurement is done. This is done by default by the USB scope app.
If the signal path have some additional cables and switch relays, they must
de-embed with their S-parameters. The tables at page 25 shows the
composition of the used transfer function for the relevant test cases
Infiniisim feature can be used with Keysight scope to calculate the transfer
function. For more details, refer to the documentation of Infiniisim .
The USB scope app comes together with the S-parameter files for
calculating the transfer functions of the default setup. They are installed at
the scope at the following location:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Infiniium\USB3Test\TransferFunctions\

The Valiframe Type-C installation contains files with typical S-parameter
for 1-3 switch stages with cables. They are installed at the ValiFrame PC at
