window you can set the BERT
de-emphasis Pre-cursor1 and Post-cursors 1,2, if desired, to obtain an
optimum optical waveform with minimum jitter. Usually, for 100GBASE
configurations around -2 dB of Post-cursor 1 is all that is required. For
40GBASE/10GBASE configurations usually 0 to -0.5 dB of Post-cursor 1 is
sufficient. Select the appropriate de-emphasis values and click the
Set
button to send to the hardware; observe the resulting optical waveform on
the DCA.
