User Manual
Select the percussion decay time through the [SLOW/FAST] button.
In SLOW mode (led off) the decay time is set by the PERCUSSION DECAY parameter (see par. 5.5).
In FAST mode (led on) the decay time is shorter.
161B
Select the percussion harmonic through the [2nd/3rd] button.
In
2nd
mode (led off)
the harmonic used by the percussion in the second (equivalent to a 4 'register).
In 3rd (led on) the percussion harmonic is a third (equivalent to a 2 2/3' register).
4.4 VIBRATO OR CHORUS
In the VIBRATO/CHORUS sections of the front panel there are three controls designed to apply the desired
effect (Vibrato or Chorus) to the sound. The Vibrato cyclically modulates the pitch of the signal
thus adding
“spatiality” and “full-body” to the sound. Chorus adds the direct signal to the modulated signal. As a result, it
affects both the signal’s tuning and amplitude.
By pressing the [UPPER] button you can apply the Vibrato/Chorus effect to the Upper section. With [LOWER]
you can add the effect to the Lower section and pedal.
The six-position knob [VIBRATO/CHORUS] allows you to select one of the three effects of Vibrato (V1-V2-V3) or
one of the three Chorus (C1-C2-C3) effects, which differ by modulation depths.
4.5 REVERB
Reverb originates from the sum of the various acoustic reflections
produced by a sound in a natural environment. In the original
electromagnetic organs, the reverb was simulated by means of a
special device containing one or more springs. The Reverb effect of
the
Legend Exp allows you to simulate a natural reverb and the reverb
characteristic the
electromechanical organ. Through the [REVERB]
potentiometer on the front panel you can adjust the reverb level.
The
Legend Exp allows the user to select the type of reverb effect and
its position within the signal chain in relation to the Rotary effect. For
further information on these two parameters see par. 5.1.
