Transporting the battery

Batteries are subject to hazardous goods regulations. 
Undamaged batteries may be transported by private 
persons in road traffic. Commercial transport requires 
compliance with regulations concerning packaging, 
labelling and the transportation of hazardous goods. 
Open contacts must be covered and the battery 
securely packaged. The parcel service must be made 
aware of the presence of hazardous goods in the 
packaging. 

5.1.2

Using the transport securing system

Insert the transport securing devices between the 
brake linings.

The transport securing device is squeezed between 
the two linings.
