To set the “
send effects
” of the sound, hold
key 9
down. The display shows “
snd
” and
then the value set. Edit the parameter using the
value+/-
keys (range 0 to 63).
•
To indicate whether the sound shall react to the
sustain and expression
commands,
press
key 0
. The first time you press it, the display shows “
sus
” and then the status,
which may be “
on
” or “
oFF
”. The second time you press it, the display shows “EXP” and
then the status, which may be “ON” or “OFF”. Edit the settings using the
value +/-
keys.
You can set all the parameters back in their
default conditions by pressing the
value+ and
value-
keys simultaneously. In the case of the
Volume, if you press the Value+ and Value-
keys simultaneously, the voice is muted and
the display shows “OFF”. The edit procedures
can be repeated on all three sounds making up
the Preset. To select the sound to be edited,
press the
right keys
(sound 1),
left
(sound 2)
or bass
(sound 3). To exit the Preset editing
mode, press the Edit key. Here’s the complete
map of the functions assigned to each key of
the numerical keypad within the Edit menu.
example oF how to Change a preset
Supposing you want to change the value of Preset 49 (Piano&Strings) and turn it into
Piano&Organ.
•
Select the
right
voice by pressing the corresponding button (Right LED blinking)
•
Load Preset 49 by entering
049
on the numerical keypad (the display shows 049)
•
Access
edit
mode by pressing the corresponding button (the Edit, Right, Left and Bass
LEDs blink and the display shows “---”).
•
Press the
left
button to change the second voice of the preset (Left LED blinking, the
display shows 050, being the number of the GM sound corresponding to SlowString).
•
Select sound 020 (corresponding to the Church sound) by holding the Value- key down
(the display shows 020).
•
To increase the volume of the Church timbre, hold key 1 down and simultaneously press
the Value+ key to adjust the volume at pleasure.
•
Press the “Edit” key to exit and go back to the initial condition.
Be careful at this stage, because if you load another Preset, all the modifications made will be
lost if you do not save the Preset.
savIng a preset
Proceed as follows to save a preset in one of the memory locations available:
•
Hold the “
save
” button down for a few seconds.
•
When the display starts blinking, use the numerical keypad and enter the location in
which you wish to save the current
preset
(from 65 to 128).
