6. Maintenance
6.1 Update and reading out data

External hard drives must not be connected since the control unit
would not work (max. 100 mA power supply). A USB flash drive must
be formatted with FAT via a Windows PC before use and be
given a name.
When a USB flash drive is connected to the control unit, it will be recogni-
sed automatically. Then the data transmission menu will appear with these
selection options:

|0.1 Read out data|
•
|0.2 Software update|
•
|0.3 Read in parameters |
If the menu |0 System information| is displayed, the ESC key
can be used to return to the data transmission menu described above.
Read out data
Connect USB flash drive.
Select
|Read out data|
and
confirm with OK. A file with the system
data is stored on the USB flash drive
(*.csv).
Carry out update
Connect the USB flash drive, data transmission
menu appears.
(This is only possible if a respective file (*.hex)
is on the USB flash drive)
Select
|Software update|,
enter password and confirm with OK, the
update is carried out automatically, simply
follow the display dialogue.
Read in parameters
Connect the USB flash drive, data transmission
menu appears.
