To finish installation, click on <Finish>. 

 

 

 

Connect the USB cable to the moisture meter and to the USB port on the 

computer. 

Wait until the Windows Installer Assistant is shown. 

 

 

 

Invoke device manager. 

Click on „connections„ and the new virtual COM port for the device will be shown. 

Correct entry is clearly indicated by the name of KERN PLJ series. 

 

 

 

 

Select the shown COM Port such as COM6 according to the transmission 

software. 

We recommend our transfer software ‘Balance Connection KERN SCD 4.0‘ for 

the import of data  to a PC program. 

 

 

Go to menu

 and select the setting
