About the system control connections
When this unit is connected w ith KENWOOD system “SERIES 21”, convenient system control operations w ith other system
components are available by connecting this unit and the system through a system control cord.
For the connection w ith the “SERIES 21” system, please also read the instruction manual provided w ith the AV CONTROL
CENTER (optional) or Receiver (optional).
System connections
1. Do not connect system control cords to any components other than those specified by KENWOOD. It may cause a malfunction and
damage your equipment.
2. Be sure the system control plugs are inserted all the w ay in to the system control terminals.

About the system control operations
Remote Control
This unit can be operated from the system remote control unit provided w ith the AV CONTROL CENTER (optional) or
Receiver (optional).

Automatic Operation
Playing this unit automatically sw itches the input selection of the AV CONTROL CENTER (optional) or Receiver (optional).
Synchronized Recording
When a CD (LD) or analog disk is recorded on this unit, recording can be started in synchronism w ith the start of playback
of the player component. Also, the CCRS and O.T.E. functions w hich enable CD recording w ith very simple operations
become available.
