The transceiver unmutes the receiver when the
received QT/DQT code matches the QT/DQT code
programmed in the Channel and the DTMF matches.
You can select QT/DQT + DTMF only when the
QT/DQT Decode is set to None.
Note:
You cannot use the [

] key for this configuration.
12.2.1.7 Busy Channel Lockout
This function allows you to program the Busy
Channel Lockout.
• The above display appears when not using Busy
Channel Lockout.
• The transceiver does not transmit as long as it
receives a Carrier.
• The transceiver does not transmit when the
received QT/DQT code does not match with the
QT/DQT code programmed in the Channel.
• The transceiver transmits when the DTMF
matches.
Note:
You cannot use the [

] key for this configuration.
12.2.1.8 Beat
Shift
This function allows you to enable/ disable the Beat
Shift.
• The CPU clock frequency does not shift.
• The CPU clock frequency shifts.

This function allows you to program the transmit
power.
• The above display appears when Low Power is
selected.
• The above display appears when High Power is
selected.
