The remote control supplied w ith this amplifier is also
capable of cont rolling com ponent s from a variet y of
manufacturers once you register the appropriate setup codes
into the remote control unit.
Low battery w arning
Replace all tw o batteries w ith new ones w hen you notice a shortening
of the distance from w hich the rem ote control w ill operate. The
remote control is designed to retain setup codes in memory w hile you
change batteries.
Registering setup codes for other components
Refer to below list about the components w hich can be
registered to INPUT SELECTOR keys of the remote control.

Find the setup code of the component to be registered.

Example: To register a DVD made by KENWOOD, you w ould enter
“ 005” .

SELECTOR key or TV key w hich you w ant to register.
• LED w ill blink tw ice as confirmation.

Press the Numeric keys to enter the three-digit setup code.
• LED w ill blink once as confirmation.
Basic remote control operations for other components
Checking the codes .
If you w ant to know w hich number w as set.

After registering the setup code, press and hold the ENTER
key and then press the INPUT SELECTOR key.
• LED w ill blink tw ice as confirmation.

Press the ON SCREEN key.
• LED w ill blink according to first, second and third digit for the current
setup code.
• In case of digit 0, the LED w ill blink ten times.
Example : If the registered SETUP code is “ 028” , the LED w ill blink
ten times, tw o times and eight times.
• If t he
ON SCREEN key is not pressed w ithin ten second, this
function w ill be cancelled.
Note
Although each setup code is designed to w ork w ith a num ber of
different models, certain codes may not w ork w ith some models.
(Also, certain codes may only operate some of the functions available
on a given model.)
If no response after registering setup codes.

If the component does not react, and there is more than one
setup code, enter another setup code and try again.
• If the component is already on, pressing the
SOURCE

turn it off.
