Scrolled display
When an item of character information such as a track title is too long
to be accommodated in the display, the characters flow from the left
to the right to show the characters which have been invisible in the
beginning. This movement is referred to as the scrolled display.

Searching for tracks by title
(TITLE SEARCH)
Any track in a CD-TEXT disc can be search based on the title.
Preparation
1
Load a disc (with CD-TEXT compatibility) in the player.

Start normal playback (track mode).
To abort operation, press the TITLE SEARCH key again.
Select the desired track title.

Start playback.

Characters scroll toward the left.
To decrease
track No.
To increase

If the current disc is not a CD-TEXT disc,
“NO CD TEXT”
is displayed
for about 3 seconds.
Track title
When no key has been pressed for a second, the
track title starts to scroll in the display.

Press the TITLE SEARCH key in stop mode.
CD-TEXT operation
When playing a CD-TEXT disc, the text information recorded in the disc (disc title, verse writer names, music composer names,
etc.) can easily be recalled and displayed in alphanumeric characters.
