to d i s p l a y the waveform a t an e a s y - t o - s e e p o s i t i o n .
2) A d j u s t the amplitude to 5 d i v i s i o n s w i t h the V. VARI c o n t r o l .
3) P r e s s t h e CURSOR MODE s w i t c h t o s e l e c t t h e v o l t a g e measurement mode. A l i g n t h e A R E F
c u r s o r to the top of the square wave and the A c u r s o r to the peak of the overshoot.
4 ) When t h e V. V A R I c o n t r o 1 i s s e t t o UNCAL, r a t i o m e a s u r e m e n t i s s e l e c t e d and
a c c o r d i n g l y the d i s p l a y e d d a t a r e p r e s e n t s the percentage of the overshoot.

S i g n a l s with Low Frequency Components
When t h e o s c i l l o s c o p e ' s AC-GND-DC c o n t r o l i s s e t to AC, t h e r e i s a chance t h a t e r r o r s
may o c c u r i n t h e v o l t a g e measurement. T h i s i n a c c u r a c y i s c a u s e d by low range c u t - o f f
f r e q u e n c i e s . At AC, t h e most a c c u r a t e frequency measurements a r e r e a l i z e d above t h e 20 to
30 Hz range. T h e r e f o r e , when measuring f r e q u e n c i e s below t h i s range, s w i t c h the AC-GND-DC
c o n t r o l t o t h e DC s e t t i n g . I f you a r e u s i n g t h e probe s u p p l i e d w i t h t h e o s c i 1 l o s c o p e ,
a c c u r a t e measurement of f r e q u e n c i e s as low a s 2 to 3 Hz can be r e a l i z e d a t AC.
