Power Supply "24VDC", (X1)
On-board power supply unit (PSU)
The device is designed for an input voltage of 24 VDC (+20% /- 20%). It is protected against reverse polarity.
Both the cord to the device and the power supply unit must have external protection against short circuit and
overload triggering at max. 10 A.
The unit's earth connector dissipates disturbances caused by external signal cables or cables of other
assemblies. You should therefore use the operative earth connector of power supply connector X1 to provide
a low-impedance earth connection. We recommend using 1.5 mm² diameter wires.

Operative Earth (X11)
Connect operative earth to the protective earth conductor of the switching
cabinet or the system that the PC is installed in. Use the flat plug (6.3 mm x
0.8 mm) or the earth bolt at the back of the unit.
Verify that the cross section is not less than 1.5 mm

. Try to keep the lead to
the cabinet terminal as short as possible.
Information
A low-impedance earth conductor improves the dissipation of interference received via external
power supply cables, signal cables or cables of peripheral units.
