Inspection before every use:
•
Check that all components are in good condition
•
No visible damage
•
Replace any damaged or worn parts
•
Examine air hose, seals and face piece
•
Check connection between air hose headpiece and blower unit
•
Ensure sufficient air flow
•
Check whole respiratory systems air supply from blower to hood
•
Fully charge battery before first use
Air flow test:
•
Disconnect air hose from hood
•
Cover disconnected end of air hose with hand
•
Blower starts to run faster after about 20 seconds
•
Audible alarm activates
•
Control panels LED diodes start blinking
•
Remove hand
•
Blower speed should decrease
•
If blower speed does not change
•
Check unit
