Replace all broken flails. Sharp flails gives 

better result.

When replacing any flails ensure that the 

bolts are firmly tightened.

During operation

Always listen to any unsual noise

After each run

MEASURE

Flail mower cuts uneven or poorly

Check that all flails are undamaged and properly tightened.

Adjust the support roller and make sure it’s properly mounted

Check and tighten all belts

The cutting sound change

Check the roller  

Check the tensioning of the V-belt  

Check the flails

Excessive vibrations

Check the flails and the roller

The hydraulic is not working

Check all tubes and couplings

WARNING!

Never use different types of flail on the machine.

Always check the tightening torque on each flail after replacing.

Make sure that bolts/nuts are well tightened and cannot come loose.
