CONNECTING THE EQUIPMENT
•
Connect the machine to the tractor’s rear three-point linkage.
•
NOTE:
Remove the transport safety device before starting work.
•
Connect the pressure hose (1/2" hose) to the tractor’s hydraulic outlet.
Note: The return
hose (3/4" hose) must be connected to the free return on the tractor.
Raise the
equipment and check its function. Connect leakage line directly to tank. Max. 0 bar
•
Ready for use.
DRIVING AND SPEED
The amount of grass to be cut determines the forward speed; low speed usually produces the
best results. Start at the lowest possible speed; ensure that the mower is working efficiently
with the motor at maximum RPM without straining.
Recommended flow min. 30L/min. – max. 60 L/min.
Max. 190 bar.
It is important to always listen to the motor to ensure that the motor and mower are working
efficiently. Slow down or stop the motor if it starts to labour. Expected speed is much lower
when the machine is working hard.
Adjusting the cutting head’s distance from the tractor
•
Always switch off the tractor’s engine before making any adjustments to the machine.
•
Place the machine on the ground, fit the stabilisers.
•
Remove the pin from the beam and pull out or push in the cutting head to adjust
the distance. Refit the pin.
RELIEF SPRING (ANTI-OBSTACLE SYSTEM)
Anti-obstacle system causes the unit to spring away
when it hits an obstacle.
•
The tension of the spring should be adjusted
before using it to cut thick grass.
•
When cutting in an area of dense growth,
the spring must be tensioned.
