using an average of 10 puffs on each of the soft and hard puff settings
previously determined.
The data will then be averaged for each of the internal and external data sets
and smoothed twice with a three point smoothing function. This data is used
to calculate the skew in time between the internal and external profiles for
each puff time. It will also calculate for each timing a table of 20 points to
relate the internal values ADC values to external mmHg pressure readings
and display a graph of internal and external pressure readings versus time as
well as a table of values as shown in the form above. On completion of the
calibration table a checksum will be calculated and stored in the entry FCS.
The user then presses the Next button to progress to the Program request
form.
Program Request Form
The calculated look-up table (ADC and corresponding pressure values) along
with various parameters calculated at various stages during the calibration
process is then presented in the program request form. At this stage, the data
is ready for programming. Select the Program and Save Data radio button and
press the Program and Save button and wait for confirmation that
programming followed by file saving has been successful. If the programming
fails, a message box will inform the user.
