‹ Only have a technician perform the maintenance procedure. The-
refore please contact the manufacturer for assistance (see chapter
“Manufacturer”).
‹ No persons are allowed in the care bed during maintenance and
cleaning work on the care bed or on parts of the care bed.

Bed cannot be adjusted with hand
switch (head level, height of slee-
ping platform, etc.).*
Pressing on control keys on hand
switch results in motion other than
intended ( e. g. height of sleeping
platform adjusts, although pres-
sing control key for foot section).*
Corrective action
Plug in the power supply cable
(see chapter “Connecting power
supply”).
Connect the plugs (see chapter
“Connecting power supply”).
Shut down the care bed and
contact the manufacturer (see
chapter “Manufacturer”).
Cause
The power supply cable is not
plugged in.
The individual plugs are not
plugged into the adjustment me-
chanism.
The adjustment mechanism or the
hand switch is damaged.
Connect the plugs correctly (see
chapter “Connecting power sup-
ply”). The plugs are connected incor-
rectly. Folding-sliding doors cannot be
opened.
The door locking mechanism is
still activated. Open the door locking mecha-
nism (see chapter “Opening/clo-
sing door locking mechanism”).
Unlock the brakes.
Remove the objects.
The brakes are still locked.
The castors may be blocked by
some object.
Bed cannot be moved.
