Cleaning care bed
Please note
Inappropriate cleaning agents. Property damage.
Do not use any solvents or scouring agents.
1. Pull the mains plug.
2. Wipe the care bed with a damp cloth. Ensure that no moisture
enters any electric components.
3. Allow the care bed to dry.
4. Reconnect the power supply.
Disinfecting care bed
1. Pull the mains plug of the adjustment mechanism.
2. Disinfect the care bed.
3. Allow the care bed to dry.
4. Reconnect the power supply.
(* only for electrically adjustable care beds)
10 Maintenance
According to the German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance MP-
BetreibV §7 (maintenance) care bed operators are obliged to ensure
the safe condition of the medical product over the entire duration of
use.
The test according to DIN EN 62353 includes the following minimum
requirements:

Visual inspection
–
Measurement of insulation resistance*
–
Measurement of leakage current
–
Functional test
–
Overall assessment
To ensure the safe operation carry out a visual inspection and functio-
nal test along with an electrical test a least once a year. *
Check the care bed once a year according to DIN EN 62353 (see
chapter “Attachment” for inspection record).
Photocopy the record (see chapter “Attachment” for instruction
record) and document the test on the copy.
