PLAYING BACK A CD USING THE PR-1
OR AN EXTERNAL CD PLAYER

. How to Play a CD
In addition to playing back recordings made on the PR-1 you can play commercially recorded CD-R, CD-RW, and CD’s
sold at stores using the PR-1.
After making the necessary connections, turn the PR-1 on and insert the disc you want to play in the tray.
Press the SONG button and select the song number you want to play.
Press the PLAY button and the CD will start playing from the beginning of the desired song.
Press STOP button and the song will stop playing. (If you press the PLAY button again, it starts from where you stopped)
You can fast forward or rewind the song by pressing and holding the appropriate SONG button. Press the left SONG button
to rewind and the right SONG button to fast forward
Note) On some CD’s (like recording of live stage), the sound will be constant without any breaks and only the
song number will change. If you play using the PR-1, when the song number changes, there will be slight
space with no sound.
<CONNECTION>
Turn the POWER on (see pg.8).
Connect an amplifier and external speakers to the LINE OUT or connect a set of headphones to PHONES jack to
listen.
