A 8.4 Check the motor current
This function is accomplished with
running engine without load.
An application at the patient is not
permissible during this function.
The technical customer service user can
check the actual current of the motor, and
have this displayed. This information is an
aid to Technical Customer Service for
determining the condition of the motor and
the attached hand-piece.
By simultaneously pressing the keys “UP“

for more than 1 second, the
sub-routine “motor current check“ is called
up. The actual value in the unit
10 mA (depending on the load) is shown in
display

.
Should a value of 99 (990 mA) be
exceeded, 99 flashes in display #.
By pressing the REVERSE key

for 2-3
seconds, the sub-routine is terminated.
A 8.5 Returning to the factory set-
tings
After making changes, the user can return
to the factory settings at any time.
By simultaneously pressing the keys
“REVERSE“

and “DOWN“

for more than 1 second, the sub-routine
“factory settings“ is called up. After about 1
second, the sub-routine is terminated and
the unit is re-started.
Changed values are then returned to the
original factory settings, as follows:

A 8.6 Switching on the light when
motor stationary
When the motor is stationary, the light can
be switched on manually by pressing the
“REVERSE“

second. After 30 seconds, the light switches
off automatically.
