As necessary
Renew the worn pressure plates (6, 8) or their linings by demounting the cotter pin
(4), washer (15, pin (11 and spring (2). Knock out the bolt (1) sidewards. Replace
worn pressure plates and/or linings. Remount the pin (1) and spring (2). Ensure exact
positioning of the spring (2) during installation. Afterwards, remount the washer (5)
and cotter pin (4).
Renew worn pins (9, 11) in the arm (3) and arm retainer (13) by demounting the
clinch pin (10) or retainer ring (12). Replace worn pins. Remount pins (9, 11) and
clinch pin (10) or retainer ring (12).
For optimum lifting, the arm (3) can be swivelled around the arm retainer (13) by
demounting the linch pin (10) and pin (9). After adjustment, ensure that the pin (9)
and clinch pin (10) are remounted.
