Closure bend installation
Step 1
Cut the handrail tube flush with the post
(Note, this is the preferred option but it not
critical - max overhand of top handrail tube
is 300mm)
Step 2
Ensure the kneerail is protruding approx
200mm.
Step 3
Insert splice section into handrail section
and fix with two 20mm tek screws.
Step 4
Slide the kneerail reducer over the kneerail
tube.
Step 5
Slide the closure bend over the splice and
kneerail reducer.
Step 6
Fix two aluminium rivets through the top
closure bend and into splice join.
Step 7
Fix a 20mm tek screw through the closure
bend and kneerail reducer underneath.
