CI+ Decryption System
After calling up the menu you will see the
following on-screen display (example):
Use the
buttons to select the desired CI slot and confi rm using the
button. The receiver
opens the menu generated by the module.
The screenshots below depend on the specifi c module and card and are therefore only
intended as examples.

and Smartcard in the receiver’s CI
slot, see Operating Instructions
Part 1, “Connection and set-up”,
“Common interface (CI)” section.
From this menu, your card and your PIN code allow you to access various channels from your Pay TV
provider.
Here “HD+ CI Plus Modul” has been selected as an example. The details may be different for each
CI module. Always follow the instructions supplied by your Pay-TV provider!
The module on-screen displays may
be shown in German, even if you
have selected English as the menu
language, because the menu is
generated directly by the module!
