1. Configuration of the channel unit
The
selection of input connector A or B
as well as the
switching off of the channel unit is effected
in the input submenu.
In the output
submenu,
it is possible to set the level but not to switch it off.
Access the submenu by pressing the key.

The input frequency is selectable in 1 MHz steps between 950 MHz and 2150 MHz with the “
+
” or “
–
” key.
Changing the entry by numeric character entry is also possible :

Press and release
the “
y
y
” and “
z
z
” keys at the same time (mode starts).
●
Select the position with the “
y
y
” and “
z
z
” keys (the selected position flashes).
●
Set the position with the “
+
” or “
–
” key. Proceed in the same fashion to select all other digits.
●
Press and release

y
” and “
z
z
” keys at the same time (mode ends).
SNR display
In the submenu for the parameter “Input frequency”, the SNR of the SAT input signal is displayed, provided the channel
unit has snapped in (all parameters must have been set and the indicator “
*
” must not flash).
After the parameter “input frequency” has been selected, the submenu can be activated by pressing the
key and deactivated by pressing once again.
For failure-free operation in processing systems it is recommended : SNR > 12 dB
