Close the inlet/drain valve:
Position A: Opened valve
Position B: Closed valve
c) Close the outlet valve.
Outlet Valve:
Turn left to open
Turn right to close
d) Loosen captive screws of activator lid.
e) Lift out the activator head with the electrodes.
f) Unscrew the central cathode and remove outer steel cylinder.
g) Clean electrodes (anodes/cathodes) by brushing them lightly. Use no hard tools.
If the deposits cannot be removed by brushing, place the parts in a 3 - 5% solution of hydrochloric acid,
which will dissolve the deposits
CAUTION
Wear gloves when working with hydrochloric acid.
