Draining the waste holding tank (cassette)
When the cassette is three quarters full, the colour of the fill level indicator (next to the toilet bowl)
changes from green to red. If this happens, the cassette should be emptied at the next opportunity.
Environmental contamination due to incorrect disposal of the waste water
Dispose of the contents of the waste holding tank only at a waste disposal station
intended for this purpose.
Proceed as follows to empty the waste holding tank:
●
Slide the grey lever below the toilet bowl all the way to the left (slide valve closed).
●
Open the toilet service hatch on the outside of the vehicle and pull out the cassette.
●
Fold out the pull handle and pull the cassette to the disposal point (figure 1).
●
Position the cassette vertically and swivel the swivel arm upwards. Unscrew the dosing cap.
●
Press the venting button and empty the cassette as shown (figure 2).
●
Top up with 5 litres of water and screw on the dosing cap again (figure 3).
●
Carefully shake the cassette from side to side (figure 4), unscrew the dosing cap and pour the
contents into the disposal point.
●
Unscrew the float to remove it and clean it under running water (figure 5).
●
Using the waste holding tank (cassette) again: See “Preparing the toilet for use”.
