EN 27
CAUTION
Potential damage to the fresh water pump or other equipment
●
Never cover the fresh water pump during operation.
-> Fire hazard!
●
Operate the fresh water tank only if there is sufficient fresh water in the fresh
water tank.
-> Risk of damage to the fresh water pump due to dry running
Draining the fresh water tank
The fresh water tank can be drained through a manual drain valve (item 3 in the figure). It is located next
to the fresh water pump (1). Before draining, switch off the fresh water pump.
Reducing the content of the fresh water tank to 15 litres
To save weight during a journey, we recommend draining the content of the fresh water tank to a
residual volume of 15 % (= 15 litres). Do to this, monitor the fill level of the fresh water tank on the
control panel while draining the water, until the residual volume of 15 % has been reached. (See section
“Draining the fresh water tank”).
WARNING
Exceeding the gross vehicle weight of the motorhome!
If the fresh water tank (and waste water tank) are (still) filled when you set out on a
journey, the gross vehicle weight of the motorhome can be exceeded.
●
Drain the fresh water tank down to 15 % of its content (= 15 litres residual
volume).
●
Drain the waste water tank completely (see section “Draining the waste water
tank”).
