9.1 VRII Controller, Battery & Diagnostics Indicator
The following table indicates what the gauge will display for any given state.
Indication

Meaning
What to do
1signal
The battery needs charging
or there is a bad connection
to the battery.
Check the connections
to the battery. If the
connections are good,
try charging the battery.
2 signals
The left hand motor has a
bad connection.
Check the connections
to the left hand motor.
3 signals
The left hand motor has a
short circuit to a battery
connection.
Connect your service
agent.
4 signals
The right hand motor has a
bad connection.
Check the connections
to the left hand motor.
5 signals
The left hand motor has a
short circuit to a battery
connection.
Connect your service
agent.
6 signals
The wheelchair is being
prevented from driving by
an external signal.
Please remove the
charger.
7 signals
A joystick fault is indicated. Make sure that the
joystick is in the center
position.
8 signals
A joystick fault is indicated. Make sure that all
connections are secure.
9 signals
The parking brakes have a
bad connection.
Check the parking brake
and motor connections
and make sure all
connections are secure.
10 signals
An excessive voltage has
been applied to the control
system.
Check the battery
connections.

Make sure that joystick
cable is securely
connected and not
damaged

An Actuator trip is indicated If more than one
actuator is fitted check
which actuator is not
working correctly. Check
the actuator wiring.
