5.1.9 Horn Button
The horn will sound for as long as the button is pressed.
5.1.10 Battery Gauge
5.1.10.1The Battery Gauge is used to indicate power on and provides an estimate
of the remaining battery capacity. Any green LEDs lit indicate well-charged
batteries. If only amber and red LEDs are lit, the batteries are moderately
charged. Recharge before undertaking a long trip. If only red LEDs are lit,
the batteries are running out of charge. Recharge as soon as possible.
5.1.11 Tilt and Reclining Operation
5.1.11.1 KP-45.5T: Powered Tilt + Manual Reclining
5.1.11.2 KP-45.5TR: Powered Tilt + Powered Reclining
5.1.11.3 T: Powered Tilt (Seat Function 1)
5.1.11.4 R: Powered Reclining (Seat Function 2)
5.1.12 Tilt Operation (Seat Function 1)
5.1.12.1 Turn the power on
5.1.12.2 Press the Seat button once to toggle the control unit from Drive mode to
Seat mode. Seat function 1(powered tilt) will be active as noted by the
amber coloured“1” LED
5.1.12.3 Moving the joystick backward will tilt the seat in that direction. The
maximum degree is 38 degrees.
5.1.12.4 Moving the joystick forward will tilt the seat in that direction
CAUTION
●
The speed will be reduced to half while the seat is tilted within 15°. And
the powered wheelchair can not be driven while the seat is tilted over 15°
●
When the seat is tilted or reclined, do not drive on any slope. Always
keep the backrest of your seat in an upright position before driving on a
slope. That is, when the backrest is tilted, do not drive it on a slope.
Otherwise, the wheelchair could be tipped, and cause injury.
5.1.13 Powered Reclining Operation (Seat Function 2)
5.1.13.1 Turn the power on
5.1.13.2 To access Seat Function 2, either press the Seat Function Button again or
move the joystick right. The amber coloured“2”LED will light. (Moving
the joystick left/right while in Seat Mode toggles between Seat Function 1
and Seat Function 2. Pressing the Seat Function Button again puts VR2
